Here at York College University Centre, we offer a range of degree and higher-level courses, offering a mixture of full and part-time programmes designed with your employability in mind.

We still have places available for September 2024, in a wide range of subjects. If you haven’t yet secured a place or if your plans have changed, take a look at your options with us.

To enrol for this September, please apply to your chosen course via UCAS (for full-time), we will then be in touch to arrange an enrolment date and time with you. For part-time study, please email info@yorkcollege.ac.uk to arrange a suitable enrolment appointment.

What is Clearing?

From 5th July – 21st October, you can apply for a degree or higher-level course using Clearing. Clearing is how universities and colleges fill any places they still have on their courses.

You are eligible to apply via Clearing if:

  • You didn’t meet the conditions of your offers
  • You received offers but you’ve had a change of mind and don’t want to accept
  • You’ve paid the multiple-choice application fee to UCAS
  • You’ve declined your firm place
How do I apply for Clearing?
  • Click 'Add Clearing choice’ and fill in the course details by the date we will give you
  • This counts as you accepting the offer, so if we confirm, it will show as an acceptance on your 'Choices' page in your application

Further details and FAQ can be found on the UCAS website.

What do I do if I haven’t yet applied anywhere?

If you have not yet made any applications, you will need to register and make an application via UCAS (for full-time courses).  For part-time study, please email info@yorkcollege.ac.uk to arrange a suitable enrolment appointment.
