In this class, you'll learn about the different genres and games within esports, how esports has grown as a business, the career opportunities and be involved in learning the skills and mentality needed to a competitive player.

This class is for adults who are interested in learning more about esports. No prior experience is necessary, but a willingness to get stuck in is required. This course is a great chance to learn about the BTEC qualifications and to experience the world of esports.

Facilities

Yorks Sports Esports Centre is a fully resourced centre for Esports learning and competition. Students will have the opportunity to use York College's Esport facilities throughout the course.
