We ensure that our students have a good study/life balance. We do this by ensuring that our courses have a flexible approach to delivery. This gives students the opportunity to maximise spare time for part-time work or other commitments alongside achieving their qualification.
Lots of our courses have full and part-time options, and we condense timetables to maximise time for other commitments and to reduce travel costs and time spent commuting.
"My overall experience was brilliant and my course tutors made the time incredible. We were offered one-on-one support which is harder to come by in bigger universities. York College University Centre is a close knit group. My workplace is based close to the College so this meant I didn't have to spend lots of time commuting, so I could maximise my spare time effectively."
Adam, HNC Construction & the Built Environment.

Whatever your individual circumstances, we aim to provide a welcome and engaging community for you to enjoy and help develop your educational ambitions and future career goals.
