Staff of York College & University Centre are ‘Leading with Ambition’
Our annual internal development programme, Leading with Ambition, gave opportunity to York College & University staff, from various areas of the college’s curriculum and professional services, to develop their leadership and management skills.
The programme, which is aimed at new and aspiring leaders, guided the employees through various units including; coaching and personal reflection, the principles of leadership & management and understanding York College operations.
Alongside the modules that the group studied, the Leading with Ambition programme gave the individuals the opportunity to identify a process in College, which could be improved upon. With the support of their coaches and the emphasis being on enhancing the student experience, the group took turns to share their findings, suggestions, and implementations to the College’s Strategic Leadership Team.
This spring, the employees successfully completed the programme and were presented with a certificate and gift from Chief Executive and Principal, Lee Probert.
