Jumblehumbler Exhibition by Darren Neave graces the York College Gallery
For our first York College Gallery exhibition of 2022 we welcome the work of self-confessed ‘sculptor of sorts’ Darren Neave.
Jumblehumbler features several pieces of work, many of which began life as something very different before being repurposed into intriguing works of art thanks to Darren’s ‘cluttered mind and tangled practice’.
“The ways in which I make can be transforming,” said Darren. “I embellish and ameliorate everyday objects - making them more intriguing.
“These concerns come from my previous career as a visual merchandiser, which employs display and presentation as key elements.”
The exhibition is open now and runs until February 3, 2022. For more information on Darren Neave and his work, visit www.darrenneave.com
