Are you in year 11 studying for your GCSEs?
Making choices about the next steps in your education journey can feel like a big decision to make.
We want to give future students and their parents/carers all the information they need to make an informed choice. What better way to do that than to visit us in person?
Our Open Events are a great chance to come and visit the College. All of our facilities are available for students to explore, our knowledgeable tutors are on hand to answer any questions, and our student services areas are available to offer support on funding, transport, careers advice and learning support.
Here’s what Philip, a parent of a year 11 student had to say on his experience of our last Open Event:
“Feedback is not something I would normally do whether it be positive or negative, but on this occasion, I would like to.
“My son and myself both attended your recent Open Event and were incredibly impressed from start to finish with what we both saw, listened to and experienced.
“We are both learning on our feet about options available and making the right choices. We arrived feeling a little bit nervous and not knowing what to expect.
“Having spent nearly 2 hours at your college and speaking to several members of staff we both left, but most importantly my son left feeling that he had learnt something and felt that he was starting to form ideas on which direction he would like to take when he has finished year 11 at school.
“In conclusion I would just like to say thank you.”
