Executive Summary – Is this seminar for me?

This course is designed for Marketeers with some experience of the theory and practice of Marketing; it is recommended that participants first attend the 'Introduction to Marketing ' workshop or who check that they are aware of the basic marketing principles covered in the 'Introductory' workshop. This workshop builds confidence and specific tactical responses to your work-based marketing environment and is suited to those who want to become more effective and improve your marketing capabilities.

On this 1 day programme you will also learn what you do well and other areas you may want to focus on for further development. You will also take away fresh ideas and imaginative solutions that you can use straight away in the workplace. Throughout the workshop we will relate our activities to your work-based environment and encourage you to take specific actions back in the workplace.

Learning methods used

Instructor led facilitation. This seminar is designed to be highly practical, interactive, hands on and fun. The event will be a mix of exercises, pair work and small group discussion. In addition to sharing ideas, tools and tips delegates will receive work books with comprehensive notes. Video and case study

Introduction and Welcome
1. To understand what marketing challenges you are facing in the workplace

identifying stakeholders , how to engage stakeholders, measuring, monitoring and controlling outcomes/budgets

3. To understand how to communicate marketing plans to stakeholders

marketing reports, executive summaries, managing a marketing task team, judgement and agreeing actions

4. To improve problem solving and decision making skills by effectively communicating with stakeholders, gain some appreciation of analyzing, validating, creating, and actioning different types and levels of marketing

Methodology
