  • Understand the importance of the guidance documents, PQQ/ITT information and Expression of Interest
  • Top tips for writing winning bids and tenders
  • Identifying the Key Skills, Personal Competencies, Qualities and Abilities required for developing a winning tender or bid
  • How to collate the information, providing facts and statistical evidence, alongside qualitative research and then how to present the information to engage the commissioner
  • Where to go for support and assistance

Training Outcomes

  • Understand the key principles of bid/tender opportunities and the benefits that this brings to businesses and organisations
  • Have the background knowledge of the national context concerning Bid and Tendering processes and the legislative background
  • To understand their roles and responsibilities involved in applying for a tender/contract
  • To understand the key skills and techniques that commissioners will require achieving professional and meaningful results
  • Realise the importance of professional and effective working relationships with commissioning/organisations and how to achieve this
  • To understand the bid/tender writers role and what support that they can expect and how it will be organised
