What is counselling?

Why would I want to see a counsellor?

There may be occasions during your time at college when you experience problems, feel under pressure and find it hard to cope.

Our counsellors work within the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) ethical framework which includes confidentiality. Counselling is confidential, except in certain exceptional circumstances. These circumstances would usually be if you or someone else was at risk of being harmed.
