Young People's Survival Guide to York  - has lots of information that is York-based. It has advice and guidance on rights; health; being a parent; relationships; homelessness; learning; employment; money; benefits; an alphabetical list of all kinds of useful local agencies and organisations. 

The Mix  - Whether you want a quick chat or more focused help a trained team is here to help young people under 25 all year round.

Breathing Space - has a free and confidential phone line for anyone experiencing low mood or depression, who is worried or needs someone to talk to, also provides lots of useful information.

Support Line - The Support Line website has a huge A-Z list of topics that it gives advice and support.  You can also ring or email them.   

Patient UK- Comprehensive health information as provided by GPs and nurses to patients during consultations. If you put keywords in the search box such as anger, panic attack or domestic violence, this site has lots of self- help leaflets, advice and articles.

Counselling Directory -  is a confidential service that encourages those in distress to seek help. The directory contains information on many different types of distress, as well as articles, news, and events

Work It Out Coaching - Who is it for - Work It Out is a service for young women aged 18-30 who are looking for employment or training. The service is particularly suited for any young woman who is looking for support with: confidence, wellbeing and employability
