NHS Choices  - NHS website that gives information and advice to make it easier to discuss everything to do with sexual health.

LGBT youth York -  is a youth project specifically for young people who are 15 to 21 years old, who either identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual or transgender or, are questioning their sexuality. The Info Bank section of their website has downloadable information.

Yorkshire MESMAC - Yorkshire MESMAC provides community based social wellbeing, sexual and mental health services across West Yorkshire, North Yorkshire and Hull, includes the BLAST Project which is the UK's leading male only sexual exploitation service dedicated to tackling the grooming and sexual exploitation of boys and young men.

FFLAG - a national voluntary organisation and registered charity dedicated to supporting parents and their lesbian, gay and bisexual daughters and sons. They have a leaflet that can be downloaded called "how do I tell my parents?" See website for contact details.

Childline - The Childline website has information about transgender issues.

Mermaids - If you are a young person that feels at odds with their birth gender, or you are a parent with a child who feels this way, Mermaids can help.

GIRES - GIRES' purpose is to improve the lives of trans and gender non-conforming people, including those who are non-binary and non-gender.
