Andy D’Agorne manages the Job Shop in room 2F119 offering drop in advice for employability skills such as CV writing, job search, UCAS queries and general careers questions on Tues, Wed,Thur between 10.30 am -1.00 pm,  we can also book you in to see a careers adviser.

The Placement Team led by Nikki Hill offer drop in help and guidance in finding voluntary work placements (which are an increasingly important element of a UCAS statement or student CV), apprenticeships and other work place learning. They can also help you with applications for work and CV writing.

The Business Development Unit work with employers looking to recruit apprentices and offer booked appointments to talk about York College apprenticeships. They can also chat to groups of students for whom progression onto an apprenticeship may be an option for consideration.
