With spring in the air, Pathway to Work and Independent Living students did a wonderful job arranging and hosting Easter events for the enjoyment of the College community.
As part of their qualification, students demonstrated work skills when organising and servicing an ‘All Things Easter' Fair and Café. In putting the events together, students were required to improve their communication skills, teamwork, customer service and money skills.
Using materials and equipment, students made an array of handmade, beautifully presented Easter gifts, and at the Easter Café students cooked and served bacon and sausage sandwiches with an assortment of cakes and drinks.
The ‘All Things Easter' sales totalled almost £500 and the Easter Café raised £155.73, all of which will go towards the students’ end of year trip.
Happy Easter Everyone!
