Students studying the Pathway to Work and Independent Living course were each assigned individual roles; wrapping gifts, organising displays, manning the till and tending tables in the café area – all to develop their skills and independence.

Learning Support Practitioner, Angela Peacock, explained: “The students start getting festive as far back as September as it takes a while to organise and prepare for the bumper Christmas Sale, with all funds raised going towards the students’ end of year group trip.” Tutor Hazel Magson said: “With the Christmas tree sparkling in the College atrium and plenty of festive treats for sale, the Pathway students have done a fantastic job bringing Christmas cheer to the whole College.”
