As part of the York College Creative Show, A Level Fine Art, Photography and Textiles students and Access to Higher Education Art & Design students showcase their work.
The end of year exhibition for A Level Fine Art, Photography and Textiles students is an opportunity for students to showcase excellent work completed this year. Head of Division for Art & Design, Helen Ventress comments: "The range of work is exceptional and was very well received at the Preview event by a big crowd of parents, teachers and our VIP guests. Many students are progressing onto the College's Foundation course or to prestigious universities across the UK, and our AS Level students look forward to a further year studying with us. It's great that our external examiner requested samples of York College students work to show others as exemplar samples for the awarding body.
The Access to HE Art and Design Exhibition is a group show of the exciting and individual final major projects. Access students have come back to study at College for just one year at a later stage in their career and have excelled their wildest expectations. There are high grades and tremendous success in gaining places to study at Degree level next year!"
The Show continues until Saturday 4th July at 1.00pm. (Monday - Friday 9.00am - 5.00pm and Saturday 10.00am - 1.00pm), Floor 3 Art and Design, York College.
