Students studying the Art Foundation and final year Extended Diploma in Art and Design courses created some stunning designs for their Winter Wonderland Paper Ballgown project. The ballgowns are made entirely of white paper. The students’ only instruction was to be totally ingenious with their designs using all types of paper. They were also responsible for the styling of the models and the photography of the project.
Penny Marriott, Art and Design tutor said: “During the three week project students worked hard on their designs and the results are very impressive. The ballgowns are made out of every type of white paper and are so detailed. The students will be able to use the photographs from this project for their portfolios as they progress to university in September. The winter wonderland theme put everyone in the festive mood, it was a lovely project to work on leading up to the Christmas break.”
