Re-making Leeds

The Re-making Leeds project is funded through the Heritage Lottery and aims to address several heritage construction skills shortages. As part of this project partners aim to deliver a range of short courses.

Carving Our Heritage

This programme aims to show how to produce accurate information to enable the reproduction of historic carving and ornaments. This programme is recommended as an introduction to the Stone carving and the Wood Carving programme.

  • Demonstration of reproduction techniques
  • Produce a plaster cast model

Venue: York College
Delivery: Tuesday evening - one week only - to precede the Stone Carving and Wood Carving short courses.
Dates: Thursday 26th January 2017 
Time: 6.00pm – 9.00pm

Cost

£35.00 per individual*

£10.00 per individual if you work in construction and are elligble for funding*
